1. Aryabhata: Aryabhatta, one of great mathematician was born in Kerala (476 AD to 550 AD) and gained the knowledge from the prestigious Nalanda University. 4. Bhaskara: One of the greatest names of mathematics Bhaskaracharya is the mathematician of 12th century AD. He has made a significant contribution to the branch of mathematics. He first introduced the concept of infinity which proves that when any finite number is divided by zero, the result is always infinity. Bhaskara also the developed proof for the Pythagorean Theorem.
